I am registered for tax in the UK, but I move around between the UK, Belgium and Japan.

As a standard, I work remotely. If your project is particularly interesting and your budget has room for transport costs, I may be willing to come and work in-house.

I work on a per-project basis and therefore do not advertise any hourly or day rates. Please get in touch to schedule a free introductory call where we can discuss your needs, potential budget and timeframe. I will provide a detailed quote and contract terms on the basis of our conversation.

I have a bachelor’s degree in English & Dutch Literature & Linguistics as well as a master’s degree in European Studies. I also trained as a journalist while at university. I use those skills daily in my work.

I do not use AI for translation or writing. AI is nowhere near good enough to do a half-decent job of it yet, and correcting its work takes more time and is much more boring than just doing the actual work myself!
